With harsh climates and constant bombardment, The Peace Dove recognized how important it was to provide shelter to civilians. This critical issue became our first campaign, the Campsite Project!

1. Together with other organizations supporting displaced families in Rafa, we have been able to:

-Build a tent campaign that includes 160 tents, 15 restrooms, a medical unit, and other services

-Distribute 320 mattresses and 480 blankets (each tent received two mattresses and 3 blankets)

Tents are not a permanent residence, but they have provided long-term shelter during the harsh winter. We continuously provide hot meals and fresh water to the families living in the campsite to this day.
